Shadow Shot Sunday ..... Kid's Edition

I'm just now getting around to Shadow Shot Sunday because Alexis and I volunteered 22 hours in the past two days at the Blount BBQ Bash charity BBQ contest. (I'll have a post at my food blog sometime in the next day or two, I have to compile the huge # of shots into a low res slide show).

My 9 y/0 son was using my camera and I was actually impressed with some of the shots he had taken. Then he showed me this shot and mentioned the repetition of the shadows, that reminded me, Oh shiat! That's right, Shadow Shot Sunday.

Impressed with his general shots like this one:And this one:
I figured it was time to delegate and told him, "Go shoot shadows, kid!"

Shadow of me with the US flag waving as I stood behind the stage as one of the bands played.Another one of me, actually a reflection not a shadow. After 8 days straight of rain, there were puddles everywhere.Somebody has been watching his dad take shots on water. And on this one, it screamed shadows. Hell the dog could be named shadow. But that little bit of light on his head caught Trevor's eye.My favorite that he took.
I have to say, the did pretty damn good, even if he was shooting in full auto mode.

On edit: I have to clarify that he shot over 300 pictures, so don't think all of them turned out this good:)

  1. Maybe I should ask Trevor to take pics of me! LOL I love the shots he did when people didn't realize. I would NOT have believed he had taken them.

  5. If he takes pictures like this at 9, wow he's going to off the charts when he gets older. I agree with Rebecca the one with the man laughing captured the personality of the guy. (Hugs)Indigo
