I caught a lecture by retired botanist and award winning photographer, Dr. Alan Heilman, today at the Blooms Day festival at the University of Tennessee Gardens. There is a repeat of it Sunday at 4pm. If you are local, I highly recommend it. It's only $6 to get into the festival and parking is free.
Great shot, not sure if it is flash of ambiant light from the window. Either way, it is very nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous shadow shot! The colors are really delightful! Wish I were in Tennessee, would have loved to have attended the lecture! Sounds great!
ReplyDeleteHappy SSS!

ReplyDeleteI ABSOLUTELY LOVE this shadow shot.... where is the lighting coming from? A lamp? Sunlight? Such a nice, nice glow against the wall!
ReplyDeletegreat photo chris...happy sss.
ReplyDeleteLike lil' whirlygigs, cool shadow catch, the backdrop looks lavender, making the shot more dramatic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, the lighting is so warm - don't know if it's natural, but it looks it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun picture - love the soft glow from the sun beind the shadow! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThe pinkish flash I guess from the sunlight makes this shot so dramatic. Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Chris...job well done.
