Saturday Morning Drive

Gone but probably not forgotten... (Mascot, TN)A different burnt out home. (Powell, TN)"A helping word to one in trouble is often like a switch on a railroad track...an inch between wreck and smooth rolling prosperity." Henry Ward Beecher
And thus spake the lord...I mean, it was foggy out.

  2. I love the rail road, how do you make it black and white; then add the hints of color? I am going to scan some photos of the kids, and want to do that with them! Let me know, I use photo shop for 'butt' heads :)

  5. Hey Chris! We just love it when we happen to come upon things like your first two....fireplaces - only things left - how cool is that?! The train tracks are great - we love that hint of color....then that fog...gosh that is gorgeous!
    Have a great week!

  7. What a great outing you had! The chimneys remind me of Stonehenge and, oddly enough, Doctor Who. I don't know why that would be, but there it is. They'd make great framed shots, especially the first one.

I love the red and green lights against the monochrome on the train tracks. That one speaks to me of life, and of choices and possibilities.

Nice God shot, too. He's such a showoff. ;-)

  8. The fireplace & chimney seems to stand as a stark reminder of where the fire should have been

  9. What great pictures..I do like the chimney standing alone..kind of sad though. The last one is beautiful. Something about sun/trees. Wonderful.
